I think her day was spent as an administrative assistant or bookkeeper at a factory. She came home at dinner time to help her mom make dinner. She would read books until going to bed in the room she still shared with her 3 sisters. On Saturday afternoon, she would go for a walk with the guy in the park. Repeat on Sunday after church. My MIL lived here during that era. Her father had a successful tailor's shop on the Lower East Side and she worked in the shop. As I was showing him to the door, he grabbed me for a hug. It was very awkward. Was he just trying to get some or some lame attempt at letting me know he wants to reconcile? Jasper and Vivian's parents aren't cool enough to be true hipsters - they just moved to Williamsburg but think that gives them more street cried than their friends in Murray Hill. Thanks again. I've vetted most of those, but the top tier ones all seem affiliated with a church or synagogue, which we are not a part of. Also no connections. Waste of time to apply? [ Reply | More ]

He has a property with three tenants that pay about 30k a year. Of that about 20k covers the mortgage and about 12k is left over. He saves it in case there are any needed repairs. Also am I entitled to increase in value of the property if it increased in value almost 100k but is a premarital asset. We live in NYC. House is in MA. 7 Replies [ Reply | Watch | More ]

She is not in a mental breakdown, just thinks she is somehow privy to information that other people don't have. From her "friends in the finance industry." I think someone is pulling her leg. She does sometime believes in conspiracy theories, or that there is an elite group pulling the strings and hiding the "real" situation from ordinary people. Like the matrix, but an economic matrix that couod all come crashng down. I, on the other hand, think we have a strong, prosperous economy that could possibly be overheating in one sector (stock bubble) and correct. Nothing dire. No need to hoard food or have gold on hand.
