It suits to a Tee
Your kid isn't the popped-collar polo shirt type. No cutesy sailboats or smiling trains for this cutie. He's a bit more Maddox Jolie-Pitt – or at least you want him to be.
Show your indie spirit by shopping at Threadless Kids, where you'll find whimsical, graphic T-shirts and onesies oozing with requisite wit and irony. Think Kitson with a decidedly un-Paris Hilton-like following and nary an $80 price tag (or Us Weekly lawsuit) in sight. Looking for a shirt depicting a hitchhiking dinosaur bound for Tokyo? You'll find it. Ditto for one that lets your child proclaim, "So far, this is the oldest I've ever been" or "I don't want to grow up."
The shirts are pint-size versions of ones in the company's adult line, sold at Threadless.com. All are designed by Average Joes with Adobe Illustrator and a dream who submit their creations for users to vote on. Each week, four to six entries are chosen to be printed on shirts and put up for sale. On the kids' site, you and your little ones can vote on which pieces should be made available to the tween, sippie cup and infant demographics.
Junior doesn't need a faux-hawk to be cool (thank goodness), only a really rad T-shirts.
Just don't think about wearing the same one.
