Buzz-Worthy

You may have read some speculation on your favorite baby blog, or heard whisperings on your last trip to London. What is this mysterious British stroller that's all the rage in Europe but impossible to find in the States? And why are you so out of the loop?

Fret no longer: The Quinny Buzz has arrived on these shores. A practical multi-stage stroller, it also collapses (a la an umbrella stroller) for portability. It grows to a full-size stroller with a three-position recline seat, thanks to an automatic fold-out design (which you can maneuver with one hand, hydraulic style).

In cool colors like sulphur, Capri and juice, as well as basic black, the Quinny's got all the high-tech features: front and rear wheel suspension, double-swivel front wheels, height-adjustable parent handlebar, ergonomic multi-position reclining seat that can face forward or back, and an adjustable footrest. For newborns, use it in conjunction with the Dreami bassinet and Maxi-Cosi car seat (sold separately).

The best part: It's well under a grand (half, actually), which seems like a bargain in modern-day strollerland. The Buzz is only at select retailers for now, so you may need to battle it out with your best friend for who gets first dibs.

Though it's the hunt that keeps it ever-so-elusive.
