Blankie-Panky
When it comes to one of baby's very favorite things, all blankies are not created equal. The generic fuzzy pastel fleece may be fine for some kids. But your kid isn't fuzzy or pastel; he wants a blankie with enough personality to keep up with him, and that means lots of color.
Baby in a Blanket has plenty to offer little Mr. Colorful. Hand-crafted, reversible blankets are made from richly hued softer-as-you-wash-it cotton in an array of striking vintage-y patterns. Each side is a different coordinating fabric, for a two-in-one bonus. Between the layers sit hypoallergenic polyester that's lower in dust and allergens than other filling options.
Colors are far from the typical pastel palette, ranging from deep jewel tones to earthy avocado and tan. Choose the generously sized blankie with matching pillow, or a smaller "mimi" if portability is a priority. Infant and toddler bibs are also available, demonstrating just how well these patterns hide stains.
The designs are unique enough to eliminate blanket mix-ups at playgroup, and bright enough to make them hard to lose.
Still, when ordering your favorite color combo, you might want to get a duplicate – just in case.
