A is for Alphabet
Kids love to see their names in print – what else could explain the racks of bike-sized license plates and name bracelets sold in toy stores every day. But if your child’s name is Milo, Cordelia or Jean-Luc, you’re generally out of luck, unless you go for something custom-made.
Sweet Arts Design has created a personalized alphabet book that not only shows off your child’s unique name, but can also help teach a bit of French. This beautiful keepsake book features your child’s name printed on the cover and an optional interior page. Inside, collage-style illustrations in charming, contrasting patterns and soft, kid-friendly colors answer the “what begins with?” question with words that start with that letter in both French and English (A for avion and airplane, B for ballon and balloon, etc.). Or text can be presented in English or French only. Customization doesn’t stop there – choose different cover designs and write your own dedication, too. There’s also a generic version of the book – perfect as a shower gift for the still-undecided mom-to-be.
And if you fall in love with the illustrations, incorporate them into your child’s world with a companion collection of quality art prints, personalized or not, that look great in a nursery. Or dress your little one in custom T-shirts or onesies featuring art from the book and your own text (the child’s name, or perhaps a descriptive phrase like “sweet pea” or “little angel” instead).
The humble alphabet as objet d’art – très chic!
