Sign of the Thymes
Name brands mean a lot – no, not Chanel and Gucci (though that sounds nice), but everyday products you have grown to know and trust. Especially when it comes to skincare, only the purest ingredients, richest fragrances and best formulas will do. And that goes double for the products for a baby's delicate skin.
Discerning grownups have made the Thymes bath and body goods a success. Now they're branching out with Sweetleaf Baby, a new collection just for tiny tots. Made with organic lavender, chamomile and Aloe vera (and without parabens), the stuff is gentle enough for newborns and has a light clean scent. The six-piece collection in soft, pretty packaging offers the usual lineup of products – soap, body wash/shampoo, lotion, and diaper balm – as well as a couple of cool additions: Blanket Wash, for safe, soft washing of blankie and all the rest of baby's things; and Nursery Mist, with a light scent of rose, jasmine, amber and sandalwood (ideal for those times when even your Diaper Genie's magic isn't quite powerful enough).
The folks at Thymes take their formulations seriously. At a large in-house research and development lab, a team of highly trained chemists and perfumers (all of them women!) create, modify and test each new product before it is introduced. Besides looking and smelling good, it's safe and effective – and that's the sweetest thing of all.
