Seasons 3 and 4 were the best IMO. The first two seasons concentrated too much on Tony's relationship with his mother. The (excellent) actress playing his mother passed away, so that character died on the show, and it got much better. The last season and a half were mediocre. Gandolfini really was magnificent in the role, and so was his counterpart Edie Falco, who played his wife. Their scenes together were like master acting classes sometimes. [ Reply | More

this. the hardest part is getting in. interviewed a professor/author once and he said there are very few top schools w/o grade inflation anymore - the two exceptions he noted were Swarthmore and U of Chicago. anyway, simply not true that GPA will automatically be lower at less prestigious school. I think state schools are unique because not everyone can afford a 4 year college. Lots of smart people go to state schools just for $$$ reasons. A 4.0 at a state school would look far better than a 4.0 from a shitty private college. [ Reply | More
