The OP is starting from the basis that just because these old people annoy her in the moment, that they are a waste. In actuality, they might have done a lot more good than OP- and you can't tell this based on a momentary interaction. The point isn't that people are wothwhile only because they're old, but that you can't necessarily tell who is and who isn't worthwhile from evaluating them in line at the grocery store.

You want us to "share the road" yet there is not a light or stop sign you have ever obeyed... And FYI pedestrians are legally allowed to cross in front of you at lights you need to stop at in CP.

I absolutely detest people with multiple food issues. Not legitimate allergies or something like that, but just people who are finicky, royal pains in the ass about what they like to eat. They ALWAYS have to eat at one of three restaurants and are NEVER up for trying something new. MY DH (who is an adventurous eater) seems to attract friends like this for some reason. Drives me nuts because I love trying new things.
