np ita about private room. But you can't get them until after you deliver--so dh has to sprint. When I checked in for my scheduled c/s, there were NO private rooms and one about to come available. Dh had to run downstairs as I was wheeled to recovery. Got the room-much nicer than private rooms up at Columbia, fwiw.
