Regarding Trinity and sk: Since Trinity school officials are now talking to the press, I think they should go on the record and state categorically that "No Trustee who has served on the board since 2007 has been treated any differently than every other Trinity family in terms of how and when they paid the tuition fees for their children." the problem is that if they talk to the allegations point by point, she'll just prolong the dialogue and invent further claims. i have no idea if the claims are justified or real. i just know the pr rules. this is pr crisis management. they're doing the right thing. [ Reply | More ]

you don't dignify a crazy nutjob by answering each of her allegations. If she has any legitimate claim of nefarious goings on at the school, it will come out in a court. If not, a judge will dismiss the claims or make summary judgments early on. [ Reply | More ]

This is a non-issue, just silly people trying to feel important. If a Trustee(s) at Trinity paid their dc's tuition late, either they do not have a lot of money, so they must be amazing in some other way, or they had a severe financial setback. Either way the school should be understanding, just like they should be to any parent under similar circumstances. Trustees give more of their time to the school than regular parent's so a little extra consideration might also be warranted. [ Reply | More ]

This. A few trustees at our school (so-called tt) could not meet tuition obligations because of financial setback. They were given a payment plan and this year at least two the trustee members receive financial aid. [ Reply | More ]

DC is applying to HS this year, and even if everything she claims is 100% true, I really couldn't give less of a care. This is such a small potatoes scandal. [ Reply | More ]
