Lately my three month old holds out her left arm in a tight fist and just hold it up in the air. What is she doing?? What does she want?

    • 1. she's being a baby and discovering her body. 2. she wants to experience the feeling of her arm extended in a fist.

    • Does she seem distressed when she does it? Mine did this and also sort of twisted her body around when she was experiencing colic symptoms (stomach upset/gas). Awful to watch - felt so helpless - but she finally outgrew it.

    • Mine did that when he was 1-3 mos old. Once he figured out how to use his limbs better it stopped. It was funny to watch though. I took some pics of the black power salute to show him when he is older!
