wwyd: I haven't given much $ to my Alma Mater before, but now that my dd is applying to Kindergarten. Do I send a big check to the annual fund now? Too obvious?

  - Probably a few years. Not much... a few hundred, maybe. I mentioned in the interview that we had "focused our efforts" on my univeristy and my dc's current preschool.

      - No! Not at all. I just felt like it was a good thing to say... how much we're looking forward to be totally involved with the school, after spending our time/effort with our univeristies and current school. Just seemed intuitive to say something, but no, nobody said a thing.
