I have been relatively healthy. However, I have dealt with my father having been on life support for 12 years, with the first full year in the hospital and regular long stints thereafter. As well as 1 full year of my little brother in intensive care before dying. I become super vigilant, organized and in charge. I'm definitely someone you want on your team in a crisis. It will be interesting to see how I handle it when it's my own illness.
[ Reply | Options ]I had breast cancer in early 30s. No fam history. Stage 1 but still live in fear of it coming back and have had a few scares related to that over the years. I also have HPV . That is so nothing to be afraid about . Don't 80% of women have it?
