NY Post has an article today about Taconic mom; she had a regular marijuana habit because she didn't believe in medicine(!)and was drinking daquiris with her husband two nights before the crash. I didn't believe her husband anyway, but why did he fabricate such an elaborate lie? Even if he was trying to forestall a civil lawsuit, eventually the truth would come out.

- she was getting high because of the toothache? but that still doesn't explain chugging a bottle of booze. was her judgment so impaired by the dope she had no idea how much she was drinking?

- he's probably trying to complicate the truth as much as possible to leave doubts wherever he can. it's just an awful tragedy that none of us can comprehend. Her own baby in the car? Other kids too? Where could her mind have been. If she was that drunk and lost all judgement, didn't someone at the picnic pick up on this?
