Do you 'enjoy' spending time with your kids?
- Yes, most of the time we really have fun together
- Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's really dull and aggravating
- Honestly most of the time it's not fun at all, but it's not supposed to be fun
- I really don't enjoy it at all, and wish I could spend less time with them

DB is 11 weeks. My husband gave me sh!t because I don't fit into my skinny pants yet. I work out every day and am nursing. Am I wrong to think it should take another few months?

[ Reply | More ]You may get down to your pre-baby weight, but your body changed during pregnancy (my feet even grew a whole size!) and it might take longer to look the same in old clothes. Tell him to go buy you new skinny jeans that look good now & to get over himself. Unless of course you are just as worried about it as he is
[ Reply | More ]I totally do NOT agree with DH. But, if you really want to drop the weight, do level I South Beach for one month, drink lots of water and exercise, just about daily. Worked quick for me, but now I have serious toning to still concentrate on.

Secondly, you need to make sure you are still eating a balanced, proper diet while breastfeeding...no fad diets, no starvation. Tell your husband that he is ill informed and you don't appreciate the lack of support. Furthermore, tell him, "I thought I heard you say thank you?....so, you're welcome for giving up my body to a grueling process to produce a child for us. Now, where are my flowers, dickhead?" My husband thanks me repeatedly for going through this again to have our second child. FYI - It took me 9 months to lose the weight.
[ Reply | More ]Your DH sounds like a jerk. It took me about a year to fit into my pre-preggo clothes with my first DS and a year and a half with my second DS. I nursed both for 10 months, and my husband didn't utter a peep about my appearance while I was breastfeeding, and I reckon that's just the way it ought to be.
