I will say that although I am against gay marriage I do not 'hate' gay people or 'treat them badly'. Everybody sees things a different way based on how you were raised and what you believe. It has NOTHING to do with hate. It is a disagreement about what people feel is appropriate vs inappropriate. We will just have to learn to agree to disagree.

  - You can say they are wrong all you want but that means you are calling about 75% of other people wrong. The votes voted to stop gay marriage and it wasn't by a landslide. Obviously, I am not the only one who is wrong. Maybe you just don't want to admit that you might be the one who is 'wrong'.

        And the majority of people back in the '60s were perfectly fine with blacks not being able to marry whites, blacks not being able to patronize certain establishments, and blacks not being able to use the "nice" restrooms. Perhaps since the majority of Americans didn't agree with it, we should repeal the Civil Rights Act ...
