Do you 'enjoy' spending time with your kids?
- Yes, most of the time we really have fun together
- Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it's really dull and aggravating
- Honestly most of the time it's not fun at all, but it's not supposed to be fun
- I really don't enjoy it at all, and wish I could spend less time with them

Earrings that looked like back stock from an 80s woolworth. Must have been in the 5/$ bargain bin. We had an extended family tradition of only exchanging gifts of $5 or less so that things wouldn't get out of control I think one person just took it to the extreme.
[ Reply | More ]My dad gave me a Men's timex army watch when I was 15. It looked silly on me and didn't fit, so I didn't wear it. Two months later he asked if he could wear it if I didn't want it. This is the same dad who "bought" me a '57 Buick when I was 15. Do you think I ever drove it?

well i'm not religious at all, chinese in fact, and i received one too. i wasn't offended though. what are jews so touchy?
[ Reply | More ]np - where did she say she was offended? I once got a sacred heart wall hanging. I'm jewish. The gifter was jewish. She knew I was jewish..
[ Reply | More ]I don't know, we grew up together and even went to mass together almost every sunday so obviously I knew her religion. She always tries to be open to other cultures and religions so I thought she would have appreciated it. To me, at the time, it seemed very mystical and exotic. I never asked though.

My mother-in-law, who has overly clingy issues to my husband and to whom I am not close due to these issues (and some others), gave me some very sexy lingerie. DH and I almost threw up. Needless to say, it's never been worn.
[ Reply | More ]A copy of the Kama Sutra from one of my dh's clients who I think had a crush on me. Eew.
[ Reply | More ]my weirdest gift was also my best... 30 pair of socks. I told DH that if I was ever rich I'd have new socks every day...so he bought me enough to "live like I was rich for a month"
