On TechRepublic: Windows 7: Slower to boot than Vista?

  • i'm completely overwhelmed with housework and was contemplating hiring cleanign help this week. then i decided to spend the $6-$80 on better shelves and containers so that i have a place to put things away, instead of having short term help and hten having everything fall apart again in another two days. i'm really excited about this. then i think i must've sunk really low if this is what is exciting me :-(

    • Good luck. I have a babysitter coming on Friday morning, and need to get this place cleaned up enough so that I'm not embarrassed.

    • after recently spending time comparing shelves and organizing systems at ikea, pottery barn dcs, etc., for hundreds of dollars i just went to home depot and got two huge plastic storage tubs in cheery colors for four bucks each and threw all of dc's toys in them. i feel your excitement.
