  • 2 yr old had H1N1 shot today with thimerisol and also second dose of seasonal flu. feel strongly that she have the vax this year, but suddenly feel like we overdid it. did anyone else get both at once for dc? with thimerisol? 6 month old getting the H1N1 later this week and now questioning it. thanks.

      • op: honestly, I wasn't worried until I worked myself up, and I'm not even sure what I'm worried about. I am very rational and extremely pro-vax. I talk to every dr I know about this. a couple of conversations today got me riled up even though they shouldn't have.

        • op: ours said only to wait if it is the same vaccine. not one and the other. they are extremely conservative in general and didn't flinch on this.

    • It's ok now you have less to woory about not more.The levels of thimerisol are low in flu vaccs. as opposed to others. And as long as it is a shot both can be given at the same time.
