      • I got two answers the first time I asked this question. The first person said there were none. The second poster said there were loads and to do my research. If you were the first person to answer last time, I think you may be correct. I think American colleges may be increasingly interested in students with the IB (note the NY times link to Harvard admissions person posted earlier today) and that many American students would be well-served by the program. Which NYC independent schools offer the program? Dwight, Brooklyn Friends, UNIS? Are there others?

          • Big woop?! Like that was some sort of slam? Read some of the other posts on this board before you whip out your totally ineffective "flag" card.

          • I just flagged you back. See how much effect it has when there's no violation to "flag" in the first place?

          • The EF International Academy in Tarrytown is the only U.S. boarding school in the Northeast I am finding. On the other hand, there are quite a few NYC public high schools, including Washington Irving High School, that offer the IB.

    • check out boardingschoolreview.com although I came up with nothing for you when I did a quick search. also call howard greene associates - they are educational consultants in nyc and westport and see if you can ask them what is likely to be a quick question.

          • Thank you. George School website says only four boarding schools in U.S. offer the IB. Thanks so much.
