        • I haven't tried it -- but what about Chelsea Hotel -- it's run by the same group as The Virginia and Congress Hall in Cape May which we love -- may be smaller and less gambling oriented than rest.

        • The Borgata is probably the nicest also most Expensive. Friday and Sunday nights are cheaper than Saturday.

      • North fork (2 h east) or Hudson (2 h north). Stonington CT is cute too. Could always go be tourists in Boston or Philly if you want to stay in a city.
