  • I'm planning to talk to my OB about this at my next appt., but I'm getting horrible reflux after I eat anything - anyone have any suggestions? 25 weeks pg and this just started in the past week or so.

    • My OB said I could take over-the-counter Zantac and Pepcid, which helped a ton.

    • I took Zantac too. Went from not sleeping, to having wonderful restful sleep (until the end of course)

    • Very common, esp as baby grows bigger and there is less room in your stomach. Take Pepcid AC or any other OTC antacid, no reason to be miserable.

    • Nexium is safe but you have to go to your reg dr for a script and I hate to tell you its only going to get worse, by my 9th month I could not eat past 4pm or I would vomit up acid all night...that is worse case scenario of course:) stay away from any acid and absolutely NO chocolate

      • I had bad heartburn/reflux around 24-27 weeks, but then it completely went away (36 weeks now). I just ate lots of tums. Really helped, and no concerns w/regard to safety, they're good for you!
