How to discipline 3yo who won't stop crying over everything? Talking to him doesn't work. Ignoring doesn't work.

I don't think discipline is the answer. Maybe there are some real issues. In the mean time I would employ humor and distraction. The other thing I have tried with my weepy son is empathy, which gets the best reaction. Talk about feelings, boy you must be sad, frustrated, angry - just knowing you get it sometimes goes a long way.
