On TechRepublic: Worst movie of the year?

  • Do you have your 4 yo in a car seat, booster with 5 point harness, high back boost or just regular booster seat? I am not sure what to do for mine and my db is about to grow out of the infant seat so decisions must be made. Why do you use what you use? What brand?

      • Regular car seat? My dd will likely be to big for her car seat very shortly but I like her being in a 5 point harness. What seat is your dd in?

        • np: the Britax Frontier and the Graco Nautilus allow 5 pt harnessing with higher ht/wt limits and then convert to a belt positioning booster. essentially, the last car seat you would ever need!

          • Just wish I knew about these form the beginning - these seats are not cheap. Obviously the extra few $100 is fully worth keeping my dc's safe so I'll end up getting one of these (I knew of these but didn't know if there were others).

    • car seat, my son is not heavy. even my 8y old he is still on a booster because of weight. check the height / weight limits to be sure.

    • i had my 4 yr old in a 5 pt harness..he went into a high back booster at around 5 and he still in that at 6

    • DS ougrew the Marathon around 4.4yo and I put him in the Frontier which is a 5pt harness that can covert to a booster. At 5.6yo, he's still in the 5 pt harness. I'm thinking I'm going to keep him in the 5 pt harness as long as I can, but at a minimum to his 6th birthday. We also have a booster that we use when he's going in someone else's car or if we need to put another kid in our car.

    • We got the Britax Regent at 4yo to keep dc in a 5-pt harness longer.
