    • The couple would have specified their plans for the frozen embryos in the event of death, divorce, etc. in their consent forms before the egg retrieval.

      • We did this. I think we said they could be used for research purposes only (neither one of us could keep them in the event of divorce).

    • There was a big court case in the UK about this. The judge ended up ruling the embryo's must be destroyed. Not sure what the US does
