Just moved: can anyone recommend a daycare on the UWS? I did a search and saw a bunch of negative posts about Smarter Toddler and River School. Any others that are good? Thank you.

- basic trust, tender care at the Westside Y. There is a new facility on W55th between 9th & 10th - but that's all I know. I did not like Riverschool.

- I suggest touring all of them. You can't trust everything you read on UB (either pro or con). Plus they'll all have waiting lists so get your name on every one that is acceptable to you.

- Preschool of America at 110 West End Avenue and Woodside Preschool at 140 Riverside Blvd are excellent.
