  • Anyone BTDT... How does the umemployment extension in NYS work? Is anyone eligible or does it only apply to people that haven't maxed out the total amount it says you can claim in a 12 month period?

    • it's in addition to the original 26 weeks in the one year period. but it's only for people who's original claim was within a certain time period. check their website for the time period.

      • THe time period is clear, but it's not clear whether you are eligible if you have maxed out the amount for which you are eligible. So say, you are eligible for $10K and you will use that up. Does the $10K number get bigger?
