Just got initial (day 3) CVS results - all 46 chromosones accounted for. Anyone experience different final results from the initial results? just wondering how big a sigh I can take.

We paid a few hundred dollars extra and got the FSH tests/results in 2-3 days, I think.

Good point - I think you're right FSH = initial results. I was reading the "final" results as once baby is actually born (as there are so many other things they can't yet test for). I guess the worrying never stops! Let me focus on the things that have gone right and could go right. So many other good things to think upon. :)

we are waiting for our initial results and i'm wondering the same thing. our genetics counselor told us they rarely see final results that do not match the preliminary and if they differ, it is usually because the sample did not culture correctly, which they would tell you. i take a big sigh for you! on a side note: we are getting our prelims in one day, they did not tell us it would cost hundreds of dollars - is that the standard cost? TIA
