      • I have no problem with Jewish people, let me state that before I say, we are not Jewish, does that matter?

        • of course not. There are plenty of non-jewish people that go there. you just asked for what was typical.

    • We are African American, gay and Episcopalian. We are very happy at ECFS. The consistent theme is liberal and progressive (and fairly intellectual).

      • NP - Can you tell me more about the school? Class size, curiculum, what you like best/wish were changed? Homework philosophy?

        • np: 18 per class in the lower grades, gets a little bigger later, no homework till 2nd grade, no worksheets, no explicit reading instruction till 1st grade, but lots of opportunity for those who read in K to do it. Some might find it chaotic, but we like it.

          • NP: What makes it chaotic? I love what I've heard and read about this school and would like to know more.

      • oh, good grief. ECFS is definitely a comfortable place for gay and Lesbian families. Perhaps I'm misreading your tone, but this sounds like on of those "Dingo ate my baby and gay people took my spot" answers.

        • It was actually a gay dingo who took her spot.
