What is the going rate for a babysitter for 1 DC p/t (pick up after K until 6:30). In Manhattan.

In the past 6 months, I have placed ads on Sittercity for occasional weekends and limited weekday hours. 3dc and advertised $15/hour. I had over 70 replies in the first day to weekend and close to that for weekday. Took ads down due to response. Lots of great applicants, most in college or recently finished with school.

OP here: we have a f/t nanny & are looking to transition. she seems willing, but we haven't talked salary yet. Currently makes 13/hr - but we pay overtime on some days(even if we don't use it)
