I am helping my mother get organized & want to buy her a label maker for plastic storage boxes. Any cheap & easy-to-use ideas? TIA

    • not worth it, imo. buy a box of labels and just hand label everything.

      • ITA. I use a label maker a lot for dcs toys, lunch containers, anything they carry to school or camp. Then its good because you type the name once and print it 20 times. If each of the labels will be different they typing gets old.

      • but if you really want printed labels, you can make them with your computer.

        • yes, you can use word to print labels. but it really only works if you are printing a whole sheet at a time and i can't imagine they will know a whole sheet's worth of labels at one time. so they are probably best off just writing it up.

          • you could print them one at a time, would take just as long as a label maker, no? again. i would use a label and sharpie. much easier.
