MY DH told me that his former step DD texted him. (His ex wife has an older daughter and he has 1 dd with her who is 7 1/2) Anyway she said that her mother asked her if she wanted to smoke pot with her! I am shocked. Obviously I don't think she would offer it to the 7 yr old but still highly inappropriate. DH doesn't want to say anything to ex because he doesn't want to lose trust with step dd.

        They may place her temporarily in your DH's care which will go a long way in helping him seek full custody.

        Do you mean custody of the 7 year old (your husband's legal child)? What would happen to the older child? I think your husband is correct to not break her trust. How old is she?
