Anyone else feel we shouldnt have gotten the 2 journalists out of N. Korea?

Yes and why are we dealing with this Tyrant. I heard a deal had to be made......how can you negotiate with a mass murderer.
[ Reply | Options ]the "deal" was simple -- N. Korea wanted a sit down with Clinton before he dies. They got it. The president of N. korea spoke to Clinton for 3 1/2 hours. What ever info he wanted passed on to our govt before he son takes over, he passed on. Doesn't seem like we actually gave up anything for the freedom of these two women.

I wanted to ignore your post so that it would simply disappear for lack of responses, but it's so obnoxious and reflects such ignorance of the facts that I couldn't let it go without pointing that out.
[ Reply | Options ]The US government should always advocate for its citizens imprisioned abroad if it thinks they've been unjustly imprisioned and especially if it thinks the imprisionment is tied to greater political/diplomatic conflicts with the US. So, yes, "we" should have gotten them out (although "we" really didn't - Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Steve Bing did).
