need a good gift suggestion to bring to close friends who invited me, DH and DD to beach house this weekend. they love wine, but i dont know what kind in particular. would like something more interesting than wine though... maybe a wine accessory?

- get them a couple of packages of those vacum wine sealers and a nice cork screw. winos can always use those things

    - 67 wine & spirits will have them as will zabars. nancy's might have them too.

    - np Yep. Or we already have Vacuvin and a nice corkscrew (or 3). The Riedel wine tumblers are nice. I have a bunch, but could always use a few more. Would be happy if someone brought me four of these.

- FWIW, when someone loves wine, they generally have all of the accessories and are very particular about what they drink. Go get some great cheeses and good unique crackers at Ideal ( 52nd and 1st) or Fairway or some really great olive oil. WEe love wine and have a beach house and you can never have enough good olive oil, esp. if they like to cook. Also nice to pick up bagels on the way out of the city tonight (plus cream cheese, etc) for breakfast tomorrow.
