  • Do your dishes ever stink after they've been washed in the dishwasher? The smell is sort of a dirty fish tank smell. It doesn't happen with every load, and changing detergent hasn't helped. Help!

    • Only if they've sat in there for awhile after the cycle is complete. We've forgotten to unload the clean dishwasher before leaving our country place for a week, and have to redo them.

    • Once a week, I run a cycle with just Clorox bleach in it. You probably have some gunk down at the bottom of the washer.

    • no but my clothes washer smells mildewy if i don't keep the door open now and then to let it air out. maybe the dishwasher needs some airing as well?
