    • not for most people who live in manhattan. just the relatively few who want to go to a handful of in-demand preschools. for those who just want their kids to go to a GOOD preschool, it is still harder in NY than in any other place i have lived... but it's not like what they show in the movie. we found out we were moving here after the application process had already occurred, called around to a lot of places people we knew in NY loved, begged the directors to give us an empty space, and ended up with one at a school our son absolutely loves. later i heard the director thought we would add diversity because are from the south!

          • i pay $20k a year. most of the preschools we'd been looking at cost around this much. it was a big adjustment after paying only $7k a year in georgia!

        • $9.99! don't waste your money. it's not that interesting or good. If you have showtime, it's on demand.

    • Most people don't like the dad with the DD who got accepted into 7 schools. But I couldn't stand the Blonde woman who eventually moved to Boston. Ugh.

      • They made the process seem easy with their results at the end but they didn't get into alot of kindergartens for this year. I'm glad because if the process isn't easy for everyone there shouldn't be exceptions. I couldn't stand the blonde woman either. The preschool he got accepted into was good.

        • They also didn't apply to the most selective preschools so the results weren't as impressive. Where is the girl going to Kindergarten?

      • Thanks for posting this - saw your post at about 7:58 so I was able to watch/dvr the movie. Found it to be more accurate than I initially anticipated. All I have to say is: Bye-bye Boston Blonde - have a civilized life!
