Moms with more than one: This is my second pregnancy and it has felt so different than my first. Do contractions and labor feel the same? I.e., should I look out for the same labor signals as the first one or could the contractions & labor feel totally different, like the pregnancy?

    • With my first two my laboring was about the same for both of them. With my third completely different from start to finish.

    • With #2, the contractions were very mild. I wasn't even sure if I was in labor except for the fact that they were consistent. I waited an hour before calling DH b/c I thought they might just be Braxton Hicks. Big mistake. We barely made it to the hospital. DB was born 30 minutes later. No time for an epidural and doctor didn't even make it in time. This is a pretty common experience I've found after speaking to other mothers.
