what do you mean nightengale only? its a great school. you're lucky your dc got in.
[ Reply | More ]You're right. We were very happy to get into Nightingale. It's a wonderful school. It's just that with 99x3 we were surprised to be rejected everywhere else - even at schools with a reputation for being a little easier to get into like Hewitt. My point was just that it is hard to get in without connections even with a 99x3.

Hewitt and Marymount and even CSH would expect a fc (which they can no longer solicit) from a high scorer.

We were rejected at these schools with a 99x3, but it is quite possible that all three strongly suspected that with a 99x3 we were unlikely to say "yes" to anything other than B, S, C or NBS. Our PSD knew that Hewitt, MM and CHS were not our first choices. Our rejection at those three might well have been pre-emptive.
