I know a girl who is 30 single and has no bf, no savings, does not come from $$ and works as a secretary. She got pregnant ( was desparate to do so). I think this is nuts. She does not want to be and old mom.

- I agree it's nuts, and I'm sure she'll see how hard it is to raise a child single and without lots of money, but she'll also find the joy and love of raising a child, so it's her choice.

- What is your problem with this? If you told me she didn't have a job, lived at home with her mother, and had a boyfriend in prison and got pregnant, I'd think she was nuts. But the above does no strike me as being so out there. And from my experience in hiring secretaries, a good secretary can always get work, even in a bad economy.

- I don't blame her! She's still young enough to get pregnant naturally. If she puts it off while she waits for the man of her dreams and a lucrative career, she'd probably have to pay a fortune for IV. And at least she's young enough to have the energy to juggle baby and job.
