  • Are there any ECO NAIL SALONS? Newly pregnant and desperate for manicure/pedicure but worried about fumes from the polish, remover etc. Any recommendations for a place to go? Don't necessarily need to get polish myself.

    • Just go to a nice salon. The nicer ones don't have people getting the acrylics which smell really bad. Or go to a real spa like Bliss.

    • Edamama spa at destination maternity/pea in the pod on madison and 57th...might work. Also ABC carpet and bath on broadway/19th sells toxic free polish which I bought (including base and top coat) then I brought all my own things nail clippers, emery boards, etc and went to a good salon that had good ventilation....that is key.
