  • How long do you think a single mom should wait before she introduces her child to a boyfriend? If anyone has any expereince with this I would love to hear it. Thanks.

    • i was really adverse to introducing too soon. but eventually i would after 2 months or so. and everytime i did, the relationship ended right afterwards. i think its ok to introduce as a 'friend". mom is allowed to have male friends. problem is, depending on your child, in my case dc wanted a dad so much that dc would want to become attached immediately and it always ended after the intro so best not to introduce at all until many months and you feel sure that it is going to last a long time, for dc's sake.
