    • Try Carol's Daughter products. They're sold at most of the Sephora stores, but you've got to know exactly what you want. The Sephora staff aren't familiar with the product line. So I'd suggest going to one of Carol's Daughter's stores or Macy's, where you can have one of their reps help you. Good luck!

    • I don't have a specific suggestion except to look at the ingredients and be sure to avoid products that have tea tree oil or lavendar oil because they've been linked to early puberty in boys and girls

    • i didn't think aa's had to use special/specific shampoos -- do they? if so, it's news to me. and i'm aa, and have been my whole life.

    • Im' aa & it really depends on the type of hair she has. fine, thick, curly, kinky, obviously it can run the gamut. FOr th emost part we use the same shampoos and conditioners as everyone else, although I've always preferred moisturizing ones. I use Carol's Daughter Hair Milk on my dd's hair. it is ringlety/curly and it works well whether I want to smooth it into a ponytail, or leave it curly.

    • Check out the natural hair care board over at www.blackhairmedia.com. These women have a lot of great suggestions especially for children's hair. My friend who wears a really thick, coarse Afro loves products from these girls http://www.missjessies.com.
