If you have ds, how old were they when they were fully potty trained?

- Fully during the day just before turned 3. Now 3.5 and still in diapers at night.

  - how did you approach it? My ds will go on the toilet, we give him a sticker and then after a few stickers a reward. We have to constantly remind and bring him in, sometimes kicking and screaming. Not sure if this is the way to go.

    - I've heard 2 good methods: 1) let ds go without underwear or diaper, and when he pees, rush him to the toilet. 2) set a timer for every 15-20 minutes and go to the toilet every time the timer goes off, then reward.

      - what worked for you. Dh and i are disagreeing about what to do next. I think we need to do this three day thing. Get rid of diapers, stay home for three days and let the s--t fly. He thinks we still go by ds lead. I think we need to go to next level

        your dh is my dh. i finally put my foot down, so we are going with timer. ds freaks if he doesn't have his diaper/pants on.

- 3yo for daytime, still not dry at night at 5.2yo. potty training bootcamp is the way to go for daytime IMO. Read Toilet Training in Less Than a Day (although it takes a couple of weeks) and jsut go for it.

- 2yrs 8mos. I took a week off and did nothing but focus on getting him trained. He spent the first part of the week totally nakey and I put him on the pot every 2 hrs. Then we worked up to undies then pants. I also used M&M rewards but, uh, I realized a bit too late that I like them more than he did. So, 5 lbs of m&ms and 10 lbs of cellulite later, I had a potty trained son.
