i have a 1yr old baby who won't eat anything but puree baby food. he still throws up even the slighest lump. only thing he'll pick up to eat that isn't puree is animal cracker. is this a cause for concern?

    • It is pretty late for solid food. Most 1yo are eating table foods. Have you tried thickening the puree with baby rice or oatmeal? If you do this gradually dc will get used to different textures. GL

      • yes he throws up. he hasnt started teething yet either. last night vomited entire dinner because of one small lump of tahini paste. we seriously don't know what to do.

    • My son is the same way at 11 months. He hates lumpy stuff. I've had success with breads, crackers, cheerios and some fruit like banana, pear. I give him the fruit in big chunks- watch them carefully for choking but he will gnaw on it and eat it that way.
