  • Is there anyone else on here as stupid as me who can't figure out how to properly use a sling? I feel like I am smothering my db.

    • i know they're wonderful and i'll try again w/my 2nd db, but with my first i had her in the bjorn all the time as the sling always felt awkward, too low or too smothering. i need a crash course.

    • I could never figure it out, even with help I found it uncomfortable and dd was never happy in it. We stuck with the Baby Bjorn throughout.

      • wasn't it frustrating? i had friends w/dbs in slings who could nurse them while walking around and nobody would even know. i'm just not that coordinated i guess.

    • is your issuse that the baby is squished, or that the fabric is over his face? if the former, if baby is happy you probably are fine. htey like it. how old is the baby?

      • it's just that the baby seems really folded up - it looks uncomfortable. he's only six weeks so i don't think he could be too big, right?

        • remember, he spent monthss folded up in the womb. if he doesn't complain, he's fine with being that way.
