Is anyone still concerned about giving their kids the MMR shot anymore?

Absolutely not. There is no risk whatsoever. The guy who claimed the risk has admitted he faked his data. You can't even break up the shot anymore.

Ironically, we gave it to ds #2 today at just over 3 years. We wanted to split it up but somehow, the ped office could never get only the measles vaccine in. Finally, we gave in thinking (ok..hoping) that ds' immune system and development to maybe take him out of the risk age group (if there is one). He seemed to react fine to it and is now napping. Keeping our fingers crossed because in many ways, I think it is a crap shoot...not so much the vaccine but how your baby reacts to it.
