since i am sitting here dreading being with dh & kids (on a holiday no less - sad, i know) i want to give myself a self-esteem boost (just posted that he is a downer). i am beautiful, intelligent and funny. i am a great mom and good at my career. i am human and embarrass myself more often than not, but i think my friends appreciate that and stick close to me. i love sales people who are cordial and i always try to engage them on superficial topics to help their day go by faster (the lady in front of me at the grocery store was so rude to the cashier & he was so happy when i asked him what his plans were for later today). i make mistakes constantly, but if you need help - i am right there. i smile a lot and enjoy gardening, music, reading and sex
7 replies [ Reply | Watch | Moreno i didn't forget to say that. i was a great wife in my past. sepfhord and all. and i meant that i don't want to be with my dh right now. oh & btw, did i happen to mention that i am a sahm and with the kids constantly? so regardless of whether or not i want to be with them AT THIS MOMENT does that make me a bad mom? and fwiw, no camp this summer

new np here: you said you were good at your career...is this something you left behind to be a sahm? are you doing both? did you and your dh drift apart? i think it's healthy and important to remember why you're wonderful and unique outside of your child and husband relationships, but you mention some negative things about both and i wonder if that's making you unhappy. p.s. i do the same with sales people, cashiers, bank tellers!
