        • its a hangover from days gone by. kind of like how no one would've chosen nest over D3 G&Ts or good gen eds/MSC. or no one liked ps166, now everyone does. 84 will be the next NEST, probably with a w/l. even among privates, people were thrilled to get trevor, even the new schools that opened in the last couple of years, rather than be shutout.

            • but given the overcrowding and the nabe where ps84 is located, I think that will change unless there is a mass exodus out of manhattan and the population of dcs of elementary school age decreases significantly.

              • I think people will still choose overcrowded G&T over gen ed at 84.

                    • yes. people will start to get really sick of the severely overcrowded popular schools, and start to develop great programs in the less known schools.

    • 163, 75 (don't know 333) and I wouldn't take 84. I'd rather move to the burbs.
