Where can I get a map of which public schools serve which areas? Specifically, I need to keep a kid in I. S. 141 - Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy - in Riverdale, in the Bronx. The family of a kid who goes there has to move. How do I help them find out what their geographical boundaries are?

    • It shouldn't be a big deal. Most middle schools are district wide, so they need to stay in the school's district (not immediate zone.) Besides, once a kid is enrolled, even if a family moves, the kid is not forced to change schools.

    • That child, once enrolled, doesn't need to leave the school- until the end of the grade at which the program ends.

    • The other posts are likely correct, but if you want to ease your mind use the DOE maps at http://maps.nycboe.net/
