  • 5yo has had between 99.2 and 100.4 temp for last 7 days. doc's office said that really isn't a temp and didn't want to see her. when would you be concerned and demand an appointment? no real symptoms except she says she's tired.

    • if you are worried just bring your child in. our pediatrician always sees us when I tell them my dcs are just not feeling right. my dc has asthma so i am cautious and go in often and no one cares.

    • probably Monday if nothing else changes before then, since it's the weekend now. It's probably the flu but 7 days does sound like a long time

    • Low grade temperatures almost always indicate an active infection that requires antibiotics. Being tired just adds to the picture. Not sure why dr's office is not worried. (Could be ear, sinus, or, God forbid, a pneumonia). I would run to the dr's office.
